OK guys here is what is gonna go down if ya dont read the forum you wont know and youll be outta luck.Why do it this way?So that you the members of this team take the time to read the forum.
1)Most important be on time guys!your not gonna just show up at the main and expect me to let ya race period......nope period
2)according to turn out at the time of the race will decide if we qualify or not. if more than 10 show we will run two separate heats, each 5 laps in length ......
3)there will be 2 hot lap sessions one at the beginning of the days events before the heats 3 laps in length..the second after the heats are completed for any last minute changes you want to make.
4)Tire wear will be on damage off
5)late models only no 3 wheel chassis period if i check the server and your running a none game chassis i will boot and ban you...you can run any skin

I want this to be a big hit to help us promote the team and get you guys excited about VLR and go out knowing your with a group of people that race clean and are without a doubt some of the fastest guys out there.
ill open the server early saturday morning i will monitor it throughout the morning till race time if you do not have VLR in front of your name i will remove you from the server there is only one exception to this rule and you know who ya are..
That's really cool that you are doing it like that, except I have a couple of suggestions of my own as well...About the "If more than 10 guys show up we will run heats..." well if more thaan 10 show then we will hafta race in gamespy, and I don't think that all the members have gamespy...I know we are pretty close tho, Maybe 8 or nine guys, so we will just race it in the normal DTR2 server, and if anyone doesn't get in there, that is tuff luck I guess...we are pretty borderline right now tho...but it should be good, and I hope I can be there, it seems like it will be an aweeeesssssoooommmmmmme 40 lapper, can't wait, Shock
P.S. Also, If I am there then I will definetly run qualifying, because I am not sure if gg knows how just yet, but if he does then he can....Later
These are just suggestions, but you need to set up a chat, all the leagues I run in or any league for that matter, sets up a chat. Usually yahoo, just open a yahoo group and they are equipped with your own chat. Just go to yahoo group page and click chat, then run maybe 2 heats and finishing order of heats gets in Main. And if anyone has dial up and you try and stick 10 people in a server its gonna be messy, thats why most league A mains are 6 then have a B main. Which I fully understand this isnt a league but another major suggestion with trying to run 8-10 cars in the race run Ghost Lates, same as a late model just Ghost you can drive thru other cars, and they are 4 spd but you dont have to use the other 2 gears. Its a way to run with out having dial ups become a problem.
Hey, Thanks for your suggestions...and as you may know, VLR is soon likely to become a league, depending on how much support that we can get for it, and we will take your advice and use it for when this happens, but this weekend we will just see how everything turns out first before we try anything, but we will certaintly do what you said when we form a league, or at least the thing about the chat...Later Shock
my only complaint about the shootout was all you guys that said hey im gonna be there id name names but hell you know who ya are.I know wv and me want this to be a league and i know sometimes stuff happens and ya cant show up but the idea of team is to communicate and let us know whats up.
Just a little disappointed in the car count with all the work that went into it
But let there be no mistake you who didnt show LOST OUT missed a hella good race and are now on my list peace G&G
yo. I had to work late didn't know I couldn't come until 11 o clock don't know any phone numbers so I was screwed this is all new to me and i wanted to be there more than u know w grove is my best track but i had to work i just bought a house it costs a lot of money i ainn't no kid i have stuff to pay for i see my name out on the track as much as anybody i give VLR a lot of representation out there i'll be a good member but my job ALWAYS COMES FIRST

I just wanted to add something else; you only way you will get kicked for not showing up for a lot of races, we won't kick you, except for when VLR turns into a league.

Ya can't kick anyone lol, this was just for the ppl who thought they were gonna get kicked for not showing up, because I figured that they may have thought that or something, since they were so upset, so I just wanted them to know that...cause everyone is confused I guess
